사설토토 피가 거꾸로 솟는다 라는 느낌이 먼지는 모르겠는데 온몸의 피가 다 빠져나가는 느낌은 알겠더라구요. 매회 검사비용이 180정도 수술은 해봐야 알겠지만 그날의 의사선생님 말씀은 그냥 지금도 멍한 기억 같아요.

지금 생각하면 이것도 저것도 다 부질없는 짓이었구요. 각오는 했지만 다시 또 저는 모정으로 하소연해 기껏 양육권을 양보해줬더니 돈이나 뜯어내려 한다는 악랄한 엄마가 되버렸고 긴 소송끝에 머 결국에 승소는 했습니다. 그렇게 훌쩍 3년이라는 시간이 흘러버렸지만 그래도 정말 행복했어요. 아이와 함께 하는 기쁨이 얼마나 큰지 아실거라 생각해요.
그런데 그 너무 행복할때 불안한 마음도 함께 오는 그런거 있잖아요. 아이 어린이집에 데려다주고 오는길에 엄마와 제가 탄 차가 교통사고가 났고 하루 아침에 둘다 입원을 했는데 지금 생각해도 그때가 참 막막하네요.
의지 할 데라고는 친정엄마밖에 없었는데 저는 한 달정도 입원해야했고 엄마는 더 긴시간 병원에 계셨어야 했어요. 주변 친구들한테 부탁하는 것도 며칠이지 어쩔 수 없이 아이를 병실로 데려와 함께 지내다 아이 아빠한테 부탁을 했어요.
좀 데려가 있다가 주말에 병원으로 다시 데려와 줄 수 없겠냐고 단칼에 거절당했죠. 보통 면접교섭은 비양육자인 아이 아빠 본인이 데리러 오는게 통상적이지만 시아버지가 써온 어이없는 조서에는 제가 데려다 주고 데리고 오는 조항까지 있었어요. 긴 사연이 있었고 당시에는 제가 또 정상적인 판단이 안되던 사연이 있었어요
. 병원복을 입은 상태로 외출증을 끊어 택시로 왕복 4~5시간을 매주 그렇게 다시 생각해도 피꺼솟 이지만 왜 그렇게까지 했냐 하실거란 거 알아요. 당시에 변호사님도 엄청 말렸지만 제가 제발 그냥 다 해주고 하루라도 빨리 우리아이 데려와야 한다고 실성한 상태였어요.
그렇게 한달이 지나고 저 먼저 퇴원 할 즈음에 치료중이던 엄마에게 의료사고가 일어납니다. 세상에 이런일이 하시겠지만 생략한 사연들까지 영화나 책을 쓰면 시리즈로 내야 할 판이네요. 손으로 먹고 사는 엄마에게 손이 마비된 상태로 아주 위급한 상황들이 이어졌어요.

엄마의 손도 완치되어 다시 일하실 수 있게되고 아이는 6살 8살때 두 차례 가슴 수술 후 5년뒤 13살때 완치 판정을 받았고 현재는 저보다 키도 몸도 훌쩍 커버린 중딩 사춘기 소년이 되어 아주 건강히 지내고 있답니다. 소송 이혼은 결이 다르다는게 그런거 같아요
그러면 안되는거지만 부족한 어른들이기에 합의가 되지 않는 상황에 양보하지 못해서 또 소송밖에 답이 없구나 하는 부끄럽지만 꼭 해야할 상황도 생길수 밖에 없더라구요. 학교 들어가기 전에 다시 데려오려고 7살때 변호사님 상담을 했는데 지금 아이가 하는 말들은 효력이 없으니 아이의 의견을 들어주는 13살 즈음 다시 양육권 변경 소송을 하라고 하셨어요.
드디어 12세 때 아이는 그 어느때보다 강력하게 엄마와 살고 싶다고 했고 드디어 때가 온건가? 그날만 기다리며 살던 저는 할머니, 아빠를 최선을 다해 설득해 보려고 했어요.
